Mr. Bogdan Radu Curelea is Attorney of Law authorized by National Institute for Law Attorneys, Member of the Bucharest Bar of Attorneys of Law and certified negotiator, with an acquired extensive practice experience of 11 years. He is specialized in commercial law and he acts as Legal Consultant for: elaboration and negotiation of FIDIC contracts for infrastructure projects, legal consulting for restructuring and privatization of Romanian railway companies, contract negotiation for the 15 years contract for maintenance of metro rolling stock in Bucharest with the main target to reduce the cost of the contract. His activity includes: legal analysis of the contracts, preparation and elaboration of the negotiation strategy, action plan for negotiation process and its implementation, elaboration of letters and legal documents. He is specialized in European and Romanian law for procurement and is working in international and local projects.

Mr. Curelea participated as consultant, Leader of Legal Team in projects like: New metro line connection to Bucharest international airport, Consultancy services for National Railway Company CFR SA management in view of evaluation and implementation of the measures for company recovery, Consultancy services for National Passenger Railway Company CFR Calatori SA to identify and implement measures for future development, Technical, financial and legal support for the negotiation of the rolling stock maintenance contract between Metrorex SA and Alstom Transport, Development Axis of North – South – the “Octav Băncilă” Passage Iasi, Technical Assistance to Support the Implementation of Integrated Waste Management System in the County of Vrancea. In parallel, Mr. Curelea developed law office activity with his team of lawyers, searching always for the most effective and innovative legal solutions. Being an innovative spirit, he opened two offices in the field of traditional legal profession, has mastered the principle of association and initiated and supported, in time, professional associations (real estate, real estate appraisers), business organizations. For the last 8 years, he has been also also focusing on copyright law and related rights in the field of cinematographic and audiovisual works. Also, in the eleven years of activity, he carried out extensive work in the business law perfectly synchronized with activities in major criminal law cases regarding business law. Like the few lawyers who are developers and visionaries in the Romanian business law, he followed trends in collective lawsuits, assisting professional groups, engaged in professional networking training and also maintained a permanent dialogue with all professional partners (not only with clients, but also with and state authorities and any other organizations involved).
Education
Mr. Curelea holds an University Degree in Legal Sciences, University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law, and a Master’s Degree in Communication and Public Relations, National School of Political and Administrative Studies, Bucharest. Mr. Curelea is Member of the Bar of Attorneys of Law, Collaborator of the Romanian Anticounterfeiting Association and collaborator of the Romanian Association of Evaluators for Projects, Programs and Public Policies. He has attended multidisciplinary trainings along his carrier, with focus on the public procurement system, due diligence on real estate properties, time management, effective communication, rhetoric and diplomacy, compared leadership and theory of state organization.
Personality
Mr. Curelea has very good communication skills, verbal and written and has a high ability to think critically so that his judgment can successfully decide the best course of action to pursue. Mr. Curelea has analytical skills to absorb a great deal of information and then be able to organize and analyze the information in a logical manner. He has interpersonal ability and it is perseverant personality, with capacity to commit and succeed.
